This month, St. Louis's premier Persian restaurant will take on a new approach to please the average St. Louis "foodie."
In its 27th year in business, Café Natasha's Kabob International at 3200 S. Grand Blvd. now caters to the growing demand for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan menu items.
"We want to make dining comfortable for everyone," says Natasha Bahrami, who is behind the initiative. "Considering the diversity of the South Grand neighborhood, it's the responsibility of each restaurant to meet the dietary needs of its customers."
The restaurant recently launched a fresh new fall menu featuring seasonal items like the Blackberry Sirloin Beef: a tender beef sirloin with a garlic and blackberry red wine reduction sauce, complemented with fresh blackberries. Influenced by a recent journey through the Middle East, Natasha aspires to re-awaken diners' appetite to all the exotic Middle Eastern flavors that Café Natasha's is known for.
Café Natasha's will also offer fresh-baked pita bread to its customers to premier the "Unlimited Hummus Bar Happy Hour," which will be held every Tuesday from 4-7pm Natasha is certain that an amazing hummus recipe, along with fresh bread, and great drink specials will dazzle diners and keep them coming back for more.
"Our new menu is sure to please everyone in your dining party," Bahrami says.
