STLwinegirl Angela Ortmann writes monthly wine recommendations in our On the Shelf column, as well as weekly dinner-and-wine pairings in her Feast online column, "Quite the Pair." You can meet her in person at a FREE wine tasting happy hour at 1111 Mississippi on Thurs., Aug. 19 starting at 6pm!

Barb Stefano's mouth-watering cover story on White Barn has received droves of compliments...as well as some unabashed drooling.

Erik Jacobs developed the recipes and wrote the story for the Flaming Fish feature story in August. Check our website later this month as we follow his progress outfitting an Airstream trailer for his mobile eats business, Wanderlust.

Pat Eby put five grill baskets to the test to bring you the best tools for summer grilling in this month's "Gadget A-Go-Go." You can also read her weekly column "A Day in the Life," where she profiles St. Louis' lesser-known food folks.

We've been getting numerous calls and emails in the office that Feast is flying off the shelves in our 500+ distribution points around St. Louis, as well as many compliments to our writers on their wonderful stories in the August issue. So we'd like to introduce just a few of our amazing contributors:

STLwinegirl Angela Ortmann gained a passion for all things epicurean by working in the luxury restaurants and hotels of St. Louis and San Francisco. Through her event and consultation business, she is dedicated to enhancing your food and wine experience.

Barbara Stefano is a freelance writer with a background in radio, newspaper and feature writing. She lives in Hematite, Mo., with her husband, Enzo, and three, four-legged "kids."

Erik Jacobs has been known to weep over perfectly executed duck confit. As the chef/owner of Wanderlust, he can be seen meandering around St. Louis in a shiny aluminum trailer serving darn good vittles.

Pat Eby pieces together a patchwork life, following her passions for writing, art, gardening, cooking and cultivating friends. She lives with Princess and Bitsy, two dogs ruled by one Zen cat, Chester, who keeps them all in line, including Pat.
